Jyväskylä visits Otaniemi

Our research group (Tero Heikkilä's group in Jyväskylä) recently visited colleagues in Otaniemi, Espoo, for two days of scientific discussions and exchanges.

We met with the groups of Alberto Ronzani (VTT), Zhipei Sun, Jose Lado, Päivi Törmä, and Pertti Hakonen (Aalto University), bringing together experts in superconductor-semiconductor hybrid systems, quantum optics, and condensed matter theory.

We had an intensive schedule, packing in more than a dozen presentations on ongoing research, exploring new ideas, and discussing new collaborations. The mix of experimental and theoretical perspectives led to many engaging conversations and helped us gain a broader view of current challenges and opportunities in the field of quantum materials.

The visit was highly rewarding. The open and productive atmosphere, with the lovely background of the Aalto University, encouraged lively exchanges.

We returned with new insights, fresh inspiration, brimming with ideas for future work.

Thanks for hosting us, friends in Otaniemi!
